Fresh Ink

Pi Phi's at our wedding day brunch. Kate's on the left
Still no tattoos... But I did ink up about a hundred envelopes for a very special wedding. Kate was my sorority sister at the University of Florida. So were 160 other girls, but Kate and I managed to keep finding ourselves in similar places. We lived in the same dorm freshman year. We studied abroad the same semester and have traveled Spain & Italy together. We both landed PR jobs right out of college on the East Coast, and within months of each other started PR jobs in Southern California.

So I couldn't be more thrilled that she is marrying our buddy Chris, one of Nick's roommates from the Naval Academy. Too bad he didn't trust me to set him up with a blind date for Ring Dance, because it would have been Kate. He'll never hear the end of that one.

Chris caught the garter at our wedding... and got his whites thoroughly soaked with someone's drink
Anyhoo, thanks guys for trusting me to be part of the preparations even from way out here. Was pretty impressed how many people I knew from your invite list. See you and all of them in Florida for the big day in December. Can't wait! Until then - Go Gators and Go Navy! (in that order).

  2. Cait - I took a class at a Michael's near Annapolis. The instructor was a White House calligrapher. Learned how to do it in 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon :) I can send you her info and you can find out when her next class is if she's still doing them. You'd be so good at this!
